Last week, and just in time to enjoy the Christmas markets, Kai Kruse joined the lab to work on different aspects of chromatin conformation analysis. Kai is coming to Muenster after receiving his PhD from the Laboratory of Molecular Biology earlier in the year working under the supervision of Madan Babu. A big welcome to Kai!

Benjamin Hernandez joins the lab!
Welcome to Benjamin, a last year student from the Licenciatura en Ciencias Genomicas. Benjamin joins after a research stint at the Zeitlinger lab and will be working on the formation of vasculature during development.

Noelia Díaz joins the lab! Noelia just finished her PhD work under Prof. Francesc Piferrer’s supervision at the Institute of Marine Sciences, in Barcelona, analysing the effect of environment on the regulation of sex differentiation in European sea bass. Welcome, Noelia!

Alexis Grimaldi joins the lab
Today Alexis Grimaldi joins the lab! Alexis just finished his PhD at the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN) in Paris under the supervision of Dr. Laurent Sachs working on the regulatory crosstalk between thyroid hormones and glucocorticoids during amphibian metamorphosis.
